Physical constraints at golf facilities have always been a barrier to teaching large numbers of kids the game of golf. The PGA Colorado Section is reaching out to change that by bringing the golf course to the children. Understanding that teaching golf where the kids are is a focus of the PGA Colorado Section is the impetus for the PGAs partnership with the YMCA, BirdieBall and Dicks Sporting Goods Park. The YMCA will gather these youngsters from all of the Denver area YMCAs to create what is believed to be the largest off course golf training event ever. This event will be FREE to the youngsters. On June 23rd, 24th and 25th, 10 am until noon each day, the YMCA will bring a total of 1000 kids ranging in age from 5 to 13 years old to Dicks Sporting Goods Park for an introduction to golf. How To Master The Golf Irons! At Last You Can Master Your Iron Play…
I want to learn to play Golf so where do I begin?
Well the answer to that question is you wanting to play for fun or be another Tiger Woods?
If it is just for fun then maybe you need to see what it is like to play the game go to the nearest golf course club house and rent your self some clubs and play 9 holes that will tell you if you even might like the game it does not matter if you have a your stance, swing A student’s success comes from having an instructor that that he or she can relate to, understand, and can ultimately see improvement in their own game. In some cases students enjoy instructors who are rigorous and demanding while others enjoy an instructor who is patient and pushes the student at a slower rate.
Find an instructor that you are comfortable with and who has the credentials and experience to effectively provide the golf instruction you need. Ask questions before you sign up.
Where did the instructor get his or her training?
What kind of scores does he or she make on a consistent basis?
You will want someone who knows what he or she is talking about so you don’t get bad advice and training.
Fining a really good golf pro instructor takes time and lots of energy, I mean take you time and fine a very good golf pro instructor not every one can teach golf. I think my husband can teach golf he tried to teach me, once but that did not go far he did not teach me any form he just put a club in my hand and said swing and swing I did. To this day I could not tell you the difference between the clubs or their use.
I think we play 10 or 12 holes of golf before I said uncle and decided that this game is for those who like to get out in the hot sun and chase the little white ball around.
