I am a woman 5′2" and want to learn to play golf, question? Women’s clubs or will Jr. clubs work for starters?

You will definitely want to go with a regular women’s set. My girlfriend wanted to golf with me so I bought her a junior set, she is 5′3", and she could not use them because she had to be completely hunched over to hit an iron. The driver fit her well though. I have gotten her a regular women’s set and she hits the ball much better now.

You should be good with womens clubs. My wife is 5′5 and grips them at the top. Worst case scenario you might have to choke down a little. But they shuold be great. Good Luck….its a great sport.

No junior clubs would be too small. I am 13 and i’m 4′11" and I have adult ping clubs with -1 inch off the shaft. Womens clubs are best for you I think. good luck with golf

Go to a good golf shop and they should be able to measure you for the correct clubs.

Go and get fit be a professional. They can tell you exactly what you need. I am 5′3" and use standard length women’s clubs. If you can’t afford new clubs, eBay is a great source for top notch clubs at a low price. now is the time that the pro shops in the northern states are dumping their inventory so it is a good time to buy this or last year’s model clubs. A year older will not affect you at all but will save you some money.
